I have eaten the plums that were in the icebox

pattern: Shadow by Veera Välimäki
yarn: Handu 100% Merino in light bubblegum pink, 40g, Skein Top Draw Sock in colour Sterling, 92g and in colour Graphite, 100g
needles: 4mm

Lovely Tiinu and I knitted Veera's Shadow as a KAL, and as always, the pattern was impeccable. The only variation I decided to do was to knit the shawl with three colours instead of two as in the original version - two different grays truly is a lovely combo, but considering my usual deathly paleness, the pink was definitely called for. Dear Tiinu did an amazing darker version with two colours, so keep a keen eye on her blog!

Top Draw Sock was once again pure heaven, and even Handu's gorgeous merino felt a bit rough compared to it, mostly because the latter is so tightly spun.  Anyways, super yarn for super pattern. If only I knew how to string this up around my neck properly...
