Leftovers

"Leftovers in their less visible form are called memories. Stored in the refrigerator of the mind and the cupboard of the heart."

pattern: The flower colourwork from Eesti kindakirjad
yarn: DROPS Baby Merino (green), Novita Nalle (white), Viking Froya (multicolour), Sandnes Sisu (blue)
needles: 3mm

Years of hoarding has led to me a situation where I have a couple of closet shelves filled with nameless and faceless yarn. Most of them are unwanted, since they date back to the times when I bought only what was cheapest. Some of them are an outcome of being paired with multicolour lovers in Rav swaps (sisters, I love everything you sent me, but I seriously never know what to knit with a multicolour skein). Some are probably from my mum's stash in the 80's. So I made a promise to myself that I would try to get rid of some of these skeins. This is the first leftover project in a long time.
